For a wedding that was years in the making, it was the moments just before that gave way to a beautiful ceremony. The bride wanted nothing more than for her family to be included in her day, which meant a photoshoot for her two daughters!

As she was getting ready, her candid spirit and humility revealed a unique perspective of love. Though time has created some distance between her and the groom, she has never stopped loving her high school friend. Life can be saturated with great separation and darkness, but it is the perseverance of the people around us that illuminate this darkness and minimize the loneliness.

Hope deferred makes the heart sick,
but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life.

Through the story of this genuine family, I believe that many will see a light that will break through the night. Hope is greater than our deepest longing and what glorious gift it is to witness this in the people around us.
